ATOM amplifiers from Precision Power adopt the most exemplary Class-D performance, reliability, and footprint of the original ATOM and iOn platforms. At first glance, you’ll notice several key improvements. ATOM’s signal inputs, power/ground, and speaker connections are relocated to the chassis’ leading edge for an easier, more appealing install. All preamp and crossover options are conveniently located on the backside. The circuit board additions include improved power supply and output stage components. Installation of ATOM amplifiers is unique, using mounting pedestals at each corner. The pedestals elevate the heatsink, improving airflow around and underneath the chassis. Additionally, rubber grommets under and inside each pedestal electrically isolate the amplifier chassis from the vehicle chassis, reducing the potential for ground-loop noise. The A400.4D is an ultra-compact, 4-channel Class D car amp with 800 watts max power output.
