The head unit also features Android Auto which extends the Android platform into the car in a way that’s purpose-built for driving. It automatically brings you useful information and organizes it into simple cards that appear just when they’re needed. Both smartphone platforms are designed to minimize distraction so you can stay focused on the road ahead. Whenever you are ready to add satellite radio, this car radio is ready to adapt to the optional tuner. And if you add a third-party backup camera, the AVH-3500NEX will automatically add parking assist lines! The AVH-3500NEX also has Alexa built-in when paired with Pioneer's Vozsis app and is compatible with Pandora as well as Siri Eyes Free.
